What is Fluid Art?

Fluid art, also known as acrylic pouring, is a unique painting technique where acrylic paint is poured onto a canvas or other surfaces. The paint is manipulated to create mesmerizing patterns and designs that are both vibrant and unpredictable. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece, reflecting the artist's emotions and inspirations.

About the Artist

At 84 years young, Valerie brings a lifetime of creativity and passion to her fluid art creations.

She shares her time between the sunny state of Florida and the northwest coast of England, and finds inspiration in the vibrant colors and natural beauty around her.

In Valerie’s own words…

“Two years ago I felt the need to do something creative for myself.

I was caring for my husband who had health problems and felt I was losing “me”. I saw a YouTube by Molly’s Art and she so inspired me I ordered supplies and started my fluid art journey.  At first there were some hits and lots of misses, but as I kept at it the art got better and better.

I feel a deep debt of gratitude to Molly, Olga Solby and Gillie Kube for their amazing creativity and the videos they continue to produce to teach, encourage and inspire me.

I encourage everyone to look them up on YouTube and enjoy their work.”

"You can't use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have."
